Aguero signs extension with Atletico

Aguero put a stop to the rumors of his departure by signing an extension that runs through 2014. Atletico confirmed rejections of transfer requests, for the 22 year old Aguero, from the likes of  Chelsea and Real Madrid.  Aguero did not specify his new buy-out clause price, which was previously set at 60 million.

Real Zaragoza lands Sunderland's Da Silva

Zaragoza confirmed the two-and-a-half year contract for the Paraguayan defender on Monday. Paraguay, with the help of Da Silva, reached the World Cup Finals last year.

Barca and Busquets agree on a contract extension.

Barca and midfielder Sergio Busquets have agreed on a contract extension that ends in 2015. Sergio spoke to Barca Tv and expressed his feelings, " I am feeling full of positive sensations. I am still young, I’m only 22, and I look forward to a career full of success. I am at the best club in the world, and I just hope that the years to come will be like those I have had here so far." The new contract also raises his buyout clause from €80 million to €150 million.

1/28/2011 Transactions(Rakitc to Sevilla)

Ivan Rakitic and Schalke could not agree on a deal to keep him in Germany. Rakitic has signed a four year deal with Sevilla for a fee of around 1.3 million Euros. Rikitic told the club's website that he had a lot of options but wanted to play in Spain, "I had a lot of options, many clubs in other leagues asked about me, but I wanted to come to Spain and Sevilla seemed to be the best choice." Rakitic ,22,  is one of the best young attackers in the world and can help Sevilla immediately.

Adebayor to Real Madrid

Emmanuel Adebayor signed a loan deal with Real Madrid. Jose Mourinho is seeking players since Gonzalo Higuain is out for most of the season."I'm a player who loves challenges, and who came here to achieve a lot of things. It's not going to be easy but I'm here to help the team achieve things." Adebayor said. Real Madrid is 4 points behing leading Barcelona. They will need Adebayor to perform at a hight level.
